I was asked last night if the owners of the Contra Costa Fusion Network intend to allow analog audio to be part of our Network? The answer is NO, there are many analog repeaters throughout the Northern California area ready to be used and supported. Our plan is to provide a place for Yaesu Fusion Digital, which has many features that work only in Digital mode. We also like Fusion Digital audio..
So get a Fusion radio and join the fun.

I’ve been waiting to see if a fusion repeater would show up in our area, I’ve Got two yaesu ftm 100d radios and a fusion handheld. Also two d star radios, and handheld. Fusion was my first try into digital, was disappointed when I found out about the lack of fusion repeaters in the area. D star was better with a great repeater on MT Diablo! I haven’t upgraded to general yet but plan to when everything opens up. There’s a yaesu ft 891 next to my bed I listen to, waiting for me to upgrade so I can fully use it. Steve Wagner k6sft was the one that got me started down this road at our school bus driving 2nd career. I also bought some end equipment but haven’t done much as the dmr programming gives me a headache!!! John Hudgens/ kk6nal p.s. I also bought a yaesu hri200. But haven’t done anything with it. I am in a good spot here in Antioch, top of a hill with a clear shot to MT Diablo.
